Frequently asked questions

What range of products do you offer?
We offer most hair care needs. We have several types of shampoo and conditioner formulations which cover as many hair types and styles as possible, as well as solutions such as treatments, leave-in conditioners, spray-on products, serums and hair waxes. We also create some skin care. Creating new products is our specialty, so don’t be limited to what is on our list.

What is the minimum order?
For Salons, the minimum order is 6 and in this case you will have to go through the exciting iRange program. See www.wildgrassbranding.com.au/iRange.html for more information.
If you are in Australia, and you would like to go beyond a single salon, then we can work with orders of 100 units per item. If you are outside Australia, there are some restrictions due to freight so we encourage orders of 250 units per item.

What sort of turn-around times are there ?
Orders take around 1-2 weeks to process. Orders outside of Australia 2-4 weeks.

Can I try samples and test the products first?
Absolutely, you have to feel comfortable with the products if you are going to sell them. Just be sure to share them around with people you trust so you get a fair opinion, always remembering that it’s the marketing that is going to move them, not the quality, which is going to be high anyway.

What if I don't have any logos or designs?
We have a design team who can help you put together your range from scratch if necessary. In fact, many of our ranges have been created this way.

What packaging choices are there?
We have different colours and styles of bottles, jars, caps and lids. You can choose from a variety of spray and lotion pumps. The biggest sellers have proven to be white bottles with one of two colour designs. We have found that the design has been far more of a selling point than the bottle or jar shape. If you are a wholesaler or a retailer that wants something even more unique, like a different colour or style of bottle that what is offered, we can organise this for you as long as you understand that these suppliers have much higher minimum orders.

What if we want to create formulations beyond what you offer?
We have an excellent team of biochemists who can help develop alternative and hair and skin care solutions. The process is not difficult, but depending on what you wish to create, there could be costs involved.

A competitor of mine already uses your service. What should I do?
We have created ranges for salons on the same street, and the same types of wholesalers in the same city, so this is not unusual. All efforts can be made to ensure there is a distinction with your competitor. Remember that most people have very different tastes when it comes to design, fragrances and most importantly, marketing. The success of your range will come down to how you market your product.

If you have any other questions or any ideas or thoughts about the products, we would love to hear them. Feel free to contact us on info@edgeindustries.com.au
